We are very fortunate to have dear friends and family members here to celebrate with us. Our little princess turns 3 and she was under the weather since Friday, but that did not stop her from enjoying the showers of attention and love bestowed on her. She acted like a princess of charm, pleasantries and proper demeanor. She fell in love with her presents of an array of pretty dresses for play and formal wear; Red packets and also a book to increase her wealth in knowledge and perhaps - tipping her mom for all the cooking, planning and making it all happen.
The day began with phonecalls from grandparents from Malaysia, Saqib tayaa & Sumera tayii form Karachi, auntie Aliya & family from Bolingbrook, IL, Ambereen from Fremont & Aneela from Lafayette, CA and text messages from Farhan, Mubina tayaa & family in Saudi Arabia, Elle from Los Angeles & more.
They all took time out of their busy lives to wish our little one - happiness and good health! If I miss someone, forgive me as it has been a very hectic week. I love and appreciate each and everyone of you.
