They came. They conquered.

Choozo's time encounter with snow. He was afraid of the white stuff.

Andy and Annie took all of us out to dinner at Hometown Buffet.

My relatives from Malaysia came to California on Nov 15 and leaving Dec 6, they spent 6 days with us. We ate, we hanged out, they shopped, we cooked and we love the time we spent together.

Choozi and her entourage

The 7 year old boy, Chinese American, named Reagan Lai, played with Maya and took care of her while she was in McDonalds play area.

She is surrounded by little boys, ages range from 4 years to 8 years old. All American born Chinese kids-parents from China. This particular lad in black n red horizontal stripes named Reagan Lai, liked Maya alot.

Choozo is wearing his favorite color green!

Roar!

As usual, food is her passion and boys follow her around, hail to Princess M.

Bee visit to USA

Annie, Bee and I ate Chinese fast food at Fashion Fair Mall.

She loves Food 4 Less, so many choices, wide aisles, polite people and you can find everything here.

Choozi is like Bugs Bunny, loves carrots!

Bee came to Fresno for 6 days and we spent most of the time shopping, cooking and hanging out. I took her to our nearby donut place, which her fave is the sugar dusted donut. I enjoyed driving her around and she is pretty flexible with anything except, she only eats Chinese, just like my mom.

Rub a dub dub

Choozo and Choozi loves to play in the bath tub. He is doing his thing and vice versa.

Cooking Malaysian

I have been very successful making my own hot & sour stewed mustard green, we called it in Cantonese "Shuen Choy" aka Sour Vegetable. I think this dish is prefect all year round. I love the soup - spicy hot and sour. My mom taught me to make it. This is my version. I used a leftover rotisserie chicken, dried red chilies, tamarind concentrate and sugar to flavor the broth. I bought leafy mustard greens from Golden Bowl Asian supermarket who sells a large bunch for simply one dollar!

My whole family loves it, esp. Sydney who begins to like spicy food with a water bottle on the side for putting fire emergency.
