Happy Birthday Auntie Bee!

Bee is the youngest aunt in my family. She taught me English when I started pre-school till I hit kindergarten, by then, I was pretty efficient in English and she made it fun for me to learn. That did not stop, she took me to her work place - high up in a skyscraper in city of Kuala Lumpur, I sat in this big leather sofa with her boss while she was taking dictation in shorthand (she is an expert in that, I called the Super Secretary)-no one can beat her at shorthand. She inspires me to be who I am today, a hard worker and a smart worker.

We lost touch when I started my life here, but I am blessed to find her back in my life again. She listens, she comforts and she makes me laugh. She came to visit me and we had a blast in that short time. We cooked, we shopped and she reminded me of what family is. So today (in US time) is her birthday, I wish her a wonderful birthday, and God bless her - for she is special and someone very dear to my heart!

Choozo's birthday at school

This new fall semester, Choozo's classroom has more girls than boys. We had pizza, chocolate cake and cookies for favors for his 5th birthday yesterday. His teacher, Ms. T and her staff, were wonderful and made him feel like King for a Day!

Siblings forever!

I wish for my kids to have a tight and unbreakable bond where it transcend through their lifetime on earth. They fight like crazy at times, but Choozo always give in to her little sister. The oldest always sacrifice for the younger siblings. At times, I wish I have what my kids have....innocence that is untarnishable.

I truly miss my siblings.

Happy Birthday Choozo 2012

Our dearest friends and family members came to celebrate Choozo's big 5. Kids had fun and the party was filled with love, food, good company and most of all, seeing everyone having a great time!

Choozo loves Angry Birds and eating M&Ms. I incorporated this 2 themes in his birthday cakes.
Angry Birds was made for home celebration and M&Ms is for tomorrow's celebration at school with his friends.
