Last weekend, my cousin Annie with her 3 kids, Noelle, Maxine and Estelle came over for a 2 day weekend stay with us. We ate, we shopped and had loads of laugh and banter. It was great catching up esp. seeing Maxine - whom I have not seen for many many years, she is now a very confident young lady and most of all, outspoken. Indeed, she is leader of the pack. Noelle, the oldest has matured and grown so much - independent wise since I last saw her 2 years ago, she has a very nice and soft spoken boyfriend named Andri. A great couple. Similar mannerisms and qualities. Estelle - the youngest of four, still a fan of all shades of blue, an avid photographer. I managed to spend some time with her while finishing her sister, Noelle's graduation cake. She took pictures of me working on the cake. She opened up more this time, I got to spend some quality time with her. She is forward with her words, not sugar-coating to please anyone, not blunt. A quality I admire in her. I miss Danielle, she stayed back in Malaysia for school purposes. We feasted on Saturday night, where my uncle Kong and aunt Alicia threw a traditional Christmas dinner with a juicy deep fried turkey, braised beef short ribs, mashed potatoes n gravy, canned cranberry jelly, brocolli rice and cheese, mozarella cheese bread, cupcakes and cheesecake. It was also a surprise birthday party for Cayley and Sydney whose birthdays are in December. My Choozo joined in the candle blowing tradition too.

On Sunday night, we feasted again on homestyle Chinese food from Golden Dynasty, simply delicious and hit the spot after a day of shopping. The next day, Annie and the kids, and Andri, came to the hospital to bid goodbye to Choozi. A sad note to leave on, but they will be back I hope!
