Water play at nearby park

Normally, we never do any activities such as this on a work day, but we got done with Choozo's visit with the doctor for his shots which is postponed till next March. We headed to the park near home and they had fun running around and Choozo was enjoyed getting wet for the first time. They had shaved ice which was great for a hot day around 91 degrees.

We then headed to pizza and sat down for the first time with all of us and watching our kids eat and conversing with us. It was a happy evening!

JT going to high school!

This little cutie pie is all grown up and going to high school. I met him when I was dating my hubby and I fell in love with him. He is sweet, charming, polite and smart. He and I go along way. All the best in high school, JT.

My chico-Aayan

This young man, my Aayan, is the coolest boy, most calm and caring one. He puts his needs before others, from stories I hear, he is an amazing boy. His track record proves resilience within self. He came from a tough journey, he fights like a gladiator, tough nut to crack, has a golden heart. I love him dearly. He makes me happy when he is with me. Always proper and handsome...my Aayan!

Happy Graduation 2012 - Nabeeha

My niece, Nabeeha, performed extremely well this school year, she made us proud! The pictures speak for themselves.

She is an avid reader! Hardworking and most of all, intelligent!

I love kids. I was fortunate enough to spend some quality time with her when she visited me in past summers. She has grown beyond her age, her conversation track proves maturity and she has good negotiations skills and I observed every kid that crosses my path, their core values. She has good core values. She came along way to find herself and stand out as an independent girl! My husband and I are very proud of her.

Happy saturday at visalia

We made a promise to Choozo that we will visit Farah Auntie and Asad bhai a few weeks ago, we made a surprise trip for him yesterday around 2 pm.  The drive was smooth, Choozi cat napped and Choozo was wide awake.

We brought a birthday cake to cut for Visalia June babies, Altaf mahmoo, Farah bhabi and Asad. My friend, Laura the cookie lady made these ninjago masks cookies for lil Asad.

We had a relaxing time as the kids was having a great time with Asad, Alina and Hamza. Asad took good care of the kids like a big brother, he showed them his toys and around the house.

A nice afternoon tea spread where bhabi made egg salad cucumber sandwihes ala British style, spicy potato salad, fruit punch with sliced limes and fresh cut mango custard, and those mangoes were to die for!!! Choozo's dad took the kids to nearby park where they roamed and played so hard, bouncing off on a teeter totter.

To end off the night, we sang birthday song and enjoyed Chantilly white cake from Whole Foods.

Bhabi made our visit very relaxing, stress free where the kids can be themselves and under the care Asad and Alina.

Thanks bhabi!

Choozo's early birthday celebration at pre-school

I know Keyaan's birthday is not still August, but since his school is closing for summer and some of his friends will be leaving so we figured we can have an early celebration for his birthday at pre-school with his buddies.

I made cupcakes with an ocean theme, where Choozo is shark fishing - Choozo on a tiny self - paddling boat with a rod fishing for Bruce the shark! - this  2 toppers were made by my friend Sachiko Windbiel from Mimicafeunion. The octos were made by myself and Choozo helped inserting the umbrellas and birthday flags.

I also made each teacher a flower pot with cake baked into the pots. Inserted sugar flower onto each pot.

The cookies are made by my good friend, Laura Lung, 30 gigantic size lollipops and cupcake shaped sugar cookies on sticks! The kids jumped with joy with so many things to eat and bring home.
