Nabeeha the budding artist

I was never quite an artist when I was growing up, it takes confidence to show one's artwork pieces to family and friends. As you all know, I am a cake artist now, better late than never
Here is my niece, Nabeeha a budding artist who draws from her heart, her bold colours and clean lines depicts a no contradictions-simpler life!

Kita Wedding Cake

This is my third wedding cake, all red velvet for Asian couple who coincidentally lived next street to us. The wedding was held on May 28th at Clovis Memorial Hall. The bride is Cambodian and groom is Vietnamese. I named this Kita Wedding Cake.

Faiz fondant topper

This sugar topper was made by a fellow fondant artist named Sachiko from New York, she made it look so much like Faiz.

Elmo and Cookie Monster for Faiz

Last weekend, we celebrated Faiz's birthday at Lincoln, California. The brunch was intimate for party of around 15, the kids had room to roam and they were happy. I made the cake for Faiz. Happy 1st birthday!

Faiz 1st birthday 2012

This weekend, we left on Friday night after work, drove to Roseville (Sacramento) for Farhan's son, Faiz's first birthday. It was smooth drive and the kids slept in the vehicle till we reached our destination. We celebrated his birthday at a golf country club restaurant, and the food was excellent. The kids had so much fun. I made the Elmo cake.
