Elmo and Cookie Monster for Faiz

Last weekend, we celebrated Faiz's birthday at Lincoln, California. The brunch was intimate for party of around 15, the kids had room to roam and they were happy. I made the cake for Faiz. Happy 1st birthday!

Faiz 1st birthday 2012

This weekend, we left on Friday night after work, drove to Roseville (Sacramento) for Farhan's son, Faiz's first birthday. It was smooth drive and the kids slept in the vehicle till we reached our destination. We celebrated his birthday at a golf country club restaurant, and the food was excellent. The kids had so much fun. I made the Elmo cake.

Back to normal

Our lives are settling into our regular routines upon return of the my hubby after taking a month's leave to be with his family. The kids were happy to see him. Choozo's cheeks turned red when his dad came to pick him up straight from driving up from LAX. We received so many gifts from Karachi relatives and very thankful for thinking of my us.
