Tea for Five - part two

The young royal tea begins with freshly baked warm scones topped with whipped cream and side of fruits.

My Afternoon tea begins with a petite salad, let me tell this ain't no petite salad, more like medium! Dressing was tangy and delicious.

Nancy's crepe for the day, chicken with mushroom and a cream sauce on top.

Nancy gave one of her crepes to SK and she fell completely in love with the crepe. She finished hers. Kudos for trying something new - SK!

My dessert - custard with raspberry coulis - light and yummy!

The young royal tea diner each get a novelty cupcake container with lemonheads and 2 chocolate peeps!

Enjoying her pig in a blanket-hotdog wrapped in puff pastry.

Do you know what is in the filling for a peeps chocolate?

The girls enjoyed the breakfast and we left happy with a full tummy.

Tea for Five - part one

The menu: we ordered the Afternoon Tea, chicken and mushroom crepes, the young royal tea.
Nancy had the chai tea and I picked the chocolate mint tea.

Nancy and I decided to take the big girls in the family for a traditional English breakfast at Victoria Rose Tea Cottage, Fourth & Pollasky at Old Town Clovis. The ambience is very warm and cosy.

A stroll down on Old Town Clovis

After our nice traditional English breakfast, we took a stroll down Pollasky and Fourth, it was cool and sunny. I whipped out my camera and took some pictures of them, being together having fun.

SK and Ani side by side holding hands, they have been friends since birth, somehow they have that everlasting connection, as they each lead a separate school life, they manage to resume the chemistry as good friends when they meet up.

Proper ladies - wow they have grown.

Posing with a wooden figure carving which costs over $1000.

A permanent figure - a cowboy.

Are missing a wheel here??

There she is.

Checking out antiques.

Something they never seen before...a Singer manual powered machine. A classic memory of my grandma sewing on this, but hers sit on a table with a wheel mechanism powered by the feet, I wonder it went, I gotta ask my dad.

Catching her breath while posing for me.

Awww!

Awww! Again!

Mannequin Awww!

Awww! CK close your mouth.

Denny's Breakfast

Initially, we drove to Fresno Breakfast House at Ashlan location, unfortunately, they closed shop permanently. We love this place. The staff is always courteous, fast and most of all, attentive. As my day begin, it already sucks. Then we drove to Denny's by Fresno State, many cars were in the parking lot, now we have to wait for food, we ordered and waited for 20 minutes....well, food was worth waiting for! Choozo gobbled up five strips of turkey bacon, pancakes and scrambled eggs. Choozi ate from her dad's plate. Then I joined the girls at 11 am for English breakfast at Victoria Rose Tea Cottage in Clovis.

Choozi's random looks

Choozi is rejecting her milk and she is on the prowl for big people food. She ate dhal chawal (dhal curry with rice), she even drank pomergranate juice and loves strawberries! She is basically our little trash can, not picky at all......that means grocery list is spiking high.
