Cakes over the years....

I found this 2 cake photos as I was searching thru my digital photo album. This one was for my 4th wedding anniversary baked by a local baker called Simpson Bakery. The cake is decorated with buttercream frosting. The only beef I have was it was too sweet.



We went to visit Aneela baaji and Sami bhai when choozo was 2. Sami bhai and choozo shared the same birthday. Aneela baaji surprised us with this little gem....very tasty and pretty looking.

Choozi's many looks

Choozi is recovering from her cold. Nothing serious. I took some pics of her at the doctor's last Thursday. She was calm till she rode home - crying because she was HUNGRY. She had no qualms about her ears, nose and throat checked, but once grandma was late on feeding her is a big no-no.

2010 William Saroyan Story Writing Contest

CK has won third prize for Category Grade 5-6 for the 2010 William Saroyan Story Writing Contest. I am so proud of her for her many achievements to date, but this take the cake! She won an award for writing about her inspiration, that is me. Her name appeared in the local Fresno Bee. She received her award at the Woodwark Park Regional Library yesterday evening, with a cash price of $50.

Choozo update

Choozo loves wide open spaces, he likes to run real hard and then pretend to fall hard on the ground. I used to worry when he was late learning to crawl and walk when his buddy Alex is already way ahead of him. I guess my choozo is taking his time.
