Playland again!

Yesterday, the temperature was 107 degrees, we went to Playland, after eating at Denny's. This time, the kids went separate ways doing their own thing. Choozi went to play at the water area. Choozo went with his dad for other rides.

Paddle boat was fun, Choozo and I came back first!

Yup, she is digging into root beer float.

She loves stomping on water puddles.

Happy Father's Day 2012

There are three important men in my life, my father, my uncle and my husband. These three men serve a purpose in my life. My father gave me life and raised me well. My uncle gave me the opportunity to start a life here in the USA and my husband gave me love, joy and 2 beautiful children. How do I thank them for Father’s Day?

My father plays a conservative role in our family. He worked hard early mornings till late evenings. He hauled heavy wooden carts filled with glass bottle soda on his shoulder everyday since he was 17. His work is very labor intensive make me appreciate him as my father and as I grew older, I now have a better understanding of him and the sacrifices he made for me and my siblings, and I treasure my time and relationship with him.

My uncle is married to my aunt. We knew each other since I was 12. We got reacquainted when he returned home with my aunt to celebrate their wedding. I was a bridesmaid. My uncle agreed to my aunt’s request to have me stay with them as I obtained my college degree at Fresno State. At that time, there were three of us, before CK and SK arrived. It was like the good old days when they used to date in high school. I respect my uncle for who he is and what he did for me.

My husband, the man I love and married. He is a extraordinary gentleman. I am lucky to have him as my husband and father of my kids. We go way back, his love is unconditional and we had many, many, many good memories during our courtship, wedded life and now raising our kids. Some times it is challenging with my medical stuff, but he is always there for me through thick and thin.

To these three men-happy father’s day!

So Random

Summer is here, we are planning to take them for water activities and trying to come up with stuff to do in the weekends. No vacation planned this year, we never do anyway.

Fashion Fair Mall

The weather was nice yesterday, so we went to the mall, after the kids had their naps. Ate at the mall, Japanese fast food. It was fun as the kids can be themselves. Window shopped at JCPenneys and Disney Store. Took Choozo up the escalator and down and also the lift, he was very curious how they work.

Playland/Storyland trip

We finally used our fantasy pass for four (thanks Nancy Lee) to Playland/Storyland by the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. We went in the morning around 11 am, parking was crazy. However, we found a spot near the entrance. We rode the train to Playland where all the rides are. The place is clean and not crowded at that time. We have full access to all rides, yippee!

The operators of the rides were friendly and so are the food stand staff. We had a blast. I rode on the spinning helicopter and came out woozy. Choozo's dad rode the carousel 3 times with the kids and I chickened out for fear of vertigo. We ate hotdogs, asian chicken salad and popcorn. The kids came home exhausted and asleep now.

This me and Choozo on the helicopter ride where you can control the height of your copter - push out the bar and it will take you up. OMG - my brain was giving me a hard time!
