Choozi 1st trip to McDonald's

At long last, we managed to bring along our choozi for her inaugural introduction to king of fast food, Mickey D's. She sat in the blue chair - chillin' as we were stuffing our faces with egg mcmuffin with no cheese and meat (Frank's), egg mcmuffin with cheese and no meat (for myself), 2 hashbrowns & scrambled eggs (a must for Choozo), apple juice and iced mocha for the grown-ups. My choozo has learned to eat ketchup with his eggs and fries. Such a big boy now.

Choozo and Grandpa

Last Saturday, choozo decided to display his affection for my camera. He was in his diaper. He ran toward grandpa and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheeks. So sweet. He also shared some of his love with grandma, it was truly a sweet ending to a six months visit. Choozo kept calling Kung Kung (in Cantonese, it means Grandpa) when he woke up on Sunday morning. It tugged my heart real hard.

Choozi and Choozo

Many said that choozi looked more Chinese compared to his bhai (brother), I remembered when Choozo was at his sister's age, they looked almost the same, round chubby face and the eyebrows...so well defined. They say it is the crowning glory of the eyes. I know Choozi will not be seeking any cosmetics tweezing of the eyebrows. Whew, a sigh of relief here.

Choozo has managed to call grandpa, kung kung and grandma, pop poh. I am waiting for him to say Daadi for grandma in Urdu, that will confuse the heck out of him.

Tomatoes

These were plucked from our backyard, 2 days ago, they survived Choozo's curiousity and constant urge to pluck them every time he is in the backyard.

Choozi in the morning

Choozi is always chirpy in the morning. Her face lights up when someone picks her up from her crib. I am so relieved that she sleeps thru' the night in her nice crib, given to her by Annika Pfister.

A day with my dad

Choozo spent the whole day with his dad and aunts, SK and CK. Dad took him to Lost Lake to explore the river and came home to play the slide and the inflated baby pool in the backyard. Too bad, I had to work. At the end of the day, choozo was exhausted and a tad cranky when we woke him from his nap to eat dinner.

Grandpa's birthday

We took grandpa to teppanyaki for his 67th birthday. He was happy. Happy B-day grandpa, dad & uncle Meng!

Cultured little lady

My mom said that choozi looked like me when I was a baby, but cuter. How bias!

Anyway, choozi is always polite in everything she does, smiles like a little lady, wakes up smiling and drinking her milk while smiling. Her doctor, Dr. Gillespie, called her a cultured little lady because she was a proper baby allowing herself to be examined without fuss.

Choozo almost 3

My little man is so mischevious nowadays, throwing tantrums is strategically planned. He made sure to have enough ground clearance so as to avoid any bodily harm when he throws himself on the floor, be it carpet or concrete.
